This project is a series of three projects that were presented to the client as a proposal for the possible development of an Oceanview property in Playas de Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The client was presented with three options, a mix-use option, a low-rise residential option, and a commercial option. The project presented here is a 62,646 square foot three-story commercial project. The first two-level were designed with thirty partitioned flexible spaces and four anchor spaces for bigger retailers to draw attention and bring customers. Another element presented was the third level restaurant space and event space, a very popular combination in the local business market. The building is also oriented facing west so restaurant-goers can also enjoy sunset dinners.
